How to Fix a Leaky Tap Without Calling a Plumber

The Fix
1. Turn off the water supply under the sink.
2. Unscrew the tap handle.
3. Replace the O-ring or washer.
What to avoid
Don't force the handle off if it's stuckâyou'll strip the threading.
